I saw an extended trailer for Sony's animated mockumentary (that's right, animated mockumentary) SURF'S UP at Comic Con earlier this year and was pretty impressed with what I saw. The trailer that recently premiered over at Apple is basically a condensed version of what was shown at The Con but it still retains all the elements I enjoyed from the extended trailer. They dive straight into the mockumentary angle, telling the story of how penguins in Antarctica instinctively took to surfing and how champion penguin "The Big Z" grew to become the most revered penguin in surfing history. We're then introduced to young Cody and his ambitious dreams to become as revered a penguin or even moreso than The Big Z.
